 Atlanta, GA: The German Church Atlanta, meeting at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer; 731 Peachtree St, NE in

Helen, GA: The Alpine Village that features the longest Oktoberfest in the USA - 8 weeks of celebration; also has
many great restaurants and gift shops. The entire town looks transplanted from the Alps.
Milwaukee, WI: Home of the largest German cultural festival in the nation, GermanFest is celebrated during the 4th

Milwaukee, WI: The United Donauschwaben of Milwaukee is the largest German Ethnic Group in the state of
Wisconsin. Their year-round activities are listed on their website and many of them take place at the Schwabenhof.
New Glarus, WI: "The Little Switzerland of America" and home of the William Tell Play,   this town was recently
placed on Forbes Traveler's 8 best places in America to visit Europe without leaving the USA.
New Ulm, MN: Truly a "Heritage City" featuring a replica of the Hermann's Statue, celebrating Oktoberfest - with a local
brewer still doing it the way Germans like it.
Chicago, IL: the United German-American Societies of Greater Chicago celebrate German Day in September each
year. The event features a parade and plenty of German music and food.
Ft. Wayne, IN: The city dedicates an entire week in June each year to feature German language culture and traditions

Bridgman, MI: Bethel Park Retreat Center features many fine German language activities & programs. A great place
to spend family time near Warren Sand Dunes at Lake Michigan.
Warren, MI: St. Peter's ELCA Church, serving the greater Detroit area's German-speaking community since 1930.
Their current need is to find a bi-lingual German-American pastor to continue the tradition as a multi-national church.
Springfield, MO: German-Austrian-Swiss Heritage and Historical Society of the Ozarks has special meetings throughout

Lincoln, NE:  HQ for the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia (AGHSR), an international organization
dedicated to the discovery, collection, preservation and dissemination of information related to the history, cultural
