| The 1st Annual German Traditional Christmas Service For Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia Area, was held on December 19, 2010 at 4:00 pm An all-German traditional Christmas Service, with liturgical worship & hymns at: Valley View Christian Fellowship 3735 Waller Road E; Tacoma, WA 98443 The German Weihnachts-Café with salads, deli & bakery specialties and a time of great fellowship followed the service. | We were pleasantly surprised that 220 people came to this, our first regional event for the Northwest Washington area! It tied a previous church record set seven years ago. Children, ages 0-12, received a small package of Christmas edibles imported from Germany. Following the service, we were blessed by German specialty food made by many of the attending ladies. The Hans' Sausage and Deli of Burien WA, Hess Bakery & Deli of Lakewood WA and the German Pastry & Coffee Shop of Lakewood WA provided donated specialties to help and assist the ladies and cooks from VVCF to make this Christmas a memorable event.
